You're enjoying a little sun, sand, and surf, and you cant help but find your mind beginning to wonder, wondering if you've been doing life all wrong. Because back home in reality, well, you've been pursuing these big goals, always chasing after what's next.

I've had the Florida Keys convince me that there is no other way to live than on a boat fishing all day and coming back and chilling with some friends. Matter of fact, I can remember it stole my heart so much that I actually devised a big plan when I was in my senior year of high school that I was going to skip the career and I was going to go straight into retirement in the Florida Keys.

0:02:19 - (Kevin Lowe): Needless to say, a kid's dream, well, it didn't quite work out the way I planned. But here to say I understand the power of a vacation. Back in 2017, I had another powerful moment happen. I went out to California, to Los Angeles, and spent a week not as a tourist, but just living normal life. And I can tell you one thing, that when I returned home, I was so sad. It was like for the first time in my life, I saw what else was out there.

And you probably feel like there's something wrong with you. But there isn't anything wrong with you because the fact is true. You just want more. You may, you might not even know what more is, but that's okay.

0:05:24 - (Kevin Lowe): You just know that you want more out of life in whatever way more looks like. And again, it's okay to want more. So if that just kind of summarized where your head space is right now when you're at home, well, lets still start to talk about this power of summer because some people may view daydreaming as just a waste of time, but my friend were using daydreaming for a powerful exercise today. Because while you're laying next to the pool or maybe you're getting a suntan by the beach, or maybe you're just out for a walk, strolling down the beach, picking up seashells.

0:06:12 - (Kevin Lowe): I want you to allow yourself to think. To let your mind wander. To let your mind wander like the breeze. See where it goes. Don't fight it. Don't force it. Just let yourself dream. Sometimes I like to say that we need to go back to a child's mindset where anything and everything is possible. And, well, I believe as children, we really know how it is in life, how it should be. So I encourage you to harness this time and let your mind wander.

0:06:53 - (Kevin Lowe): Now, I do have a few really important questions that I feel like you need to ask yourself is what do I really and truly want my life to be? What kind of legacy do I want to leave behind? What do I want people to say about me long after I'm gone? And I guess I want you to get real. What is it that feels like is missing from your life? Why are you having these feelings that you want something more? Because most of the time, if you feel like you just want more out of life, then sometimes that means that something's missing.

0:07:32 - (Kevin Lowe): And it's so important to get clear on what that is. Over these summer days, I hope you will reflect on these three questions. They're simple, yet powerful. They say a lot, they're going to show you a lot. And while you're continuing to enjoy this summer, just think about them. What I'm talking about today, it's not about you creating concrete plans, having all the answers. No. It's just you being able to harness the season of summer, the beauty of summer.

0:08:07 - (Kevin Lowe): Honestly, it's the simplicity of it. It's when life is a little less stressful, things are a little bit easier. And that's why I just want this to hopefully inspire you that it's okay to dream. It's okay to want more because I want you to dream at night when you're sleeping. But even more so, I want you to daydream in the middle of the day when you can really plan out exactly what you want life to look like.

0:08:39 - (Kevin Lowe): Envision it. Where do you want to be right now? Where do you want to be tomorrow? What are you doing? Who are you with? What do you look like? Map it all out. Figure it all out. Summer, it's a perfect opportunity to harness all of that. Now, if you want to get really technical with this approach, I'm going to give you some other ideas. And that's going to start with you setting aside what I'm going to call a daily reflection time.

0:09:12 - (Kevin Lowe): Hopefully maybe you're cool with busting out a journal, whether that's on your iPhone or a real life journal that you write in. And I encourage you each day to just spend maybe 1015 minutes. It doesn't have to be long. Reflecting back on those three questions that I presented earlier as a reminder, those questions are, what do I truly want my life to be, what I want it to look like? What do I want it to feel like?

0:09:43 - (Kevin Lowe): What kind of legacy do I want to leave behind? What do I want my kids to remember me for? And what is it that has you wanting more? What is it that's missing from life right now? Three questions that I encourage you every day to think about. Now, maybe you get pretty much crystal clear on them all then. Fantastic. Expand a little bit more, then really start to think, how can we make all of this stuff come together?

0:10:15 - (Kevin Lowe): But it all starts with these three questions now, especially if you're pretty much clear on the answer to those, well, maybe it's time to start thinking about what kind of actions could you take to make it all come true. What could you start doing today to feel like you felt back on vacation? Is it a change in career? Is it maybe just getting out there and living a little bit more? I don't know about you, but I know that my life looks vastly different since the pandemic.

0:10:52 - (Kevin Lowe): Staying inside, well, it just became a part of our life. But I encourage us all, I encourage you to get out there and enjoy life, to go places and do things. It does wonders for us. And for your mindset and a life of fulfillment, its absolutely necessary. And remember, its summertime. Im talking fun here. Maybe its you even just picking up a new hobby, starting a new craft project, doing something that you enjoy, that lights you up, that makes you go to bed at the end of the day with a smile on your face.
